6:00a.m.-7:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. The Historic Bike with Pike Century
Ride travels along Zebulon Pike’s discovery trail. Starting
at the John Martin Reservoir State Park, the route takes riders
along the Santa Fe Trail Scenic and Historic Byway, past Bents
Old Fort, through friendly historic towns and alongside world
famous melon fields. This unusual prairie bike ride includes
watermelon breaks along the semi-rolling hills and flatlands
of agricultural communities in Southeastern Colorado. The final
leg of the ride loops participants along side some of Pueblo’s
most scenic attractions and ends at Pike Plaza located on the
Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo where riders will be able
to bask in their glory while attending the wildly popular Chile & Frijoles
Festival.
